Separated across space, two loners cast away from society find eachother

Struggling with relationships, Iris feels like no one will ever understand them.
Orbiting the earth in space Lazlo misses the world and seeks for human connection.
Will Be cut back in forth beat by beat as each charater tries to connect with eachother.

Iris is a highschooler, They do not have any friends other than their stuffed animal.
Lazlo is aboard the AMIAS-01 a research ship, which for an unknown reason, has lost communication with earth.
Iris and Lazlo physically need to talk to someone.
Emotionally, Iris needs someone who they can trust.
Emotionally, Lazlo needs a human connection.
Both Iris and Lazlo's goals shift as the story progresses, they want to find eachother.

In order for Iris and Lazlo to communicate, they need to repair their walkie talkie and microphone.
Iris and Lazlo have both been hurt in the past by opening up, and need to trust eachother.

As Iris calls out into the galaxy through a walkie talkie,
Lazlo tries to tune in to the radio and hears Iris' call.

Iris escapes far away from any human civilization, the stars are bright and clear.
They call out into the night "Is there anyone out there?" After a momment of silence,
Lazlo Replies "Can you hear me?"
